Capabilities

What is included

We deliver the solution as a working service: with infrastructure, access rights, instructions, checks and a clear area of responsibility.

Registration in the NKT

We onboard you to the National Catalog of Goods: sign-in via EDS, organization profile and permissions setup, and checking products in the catalog by GTIN and name.

Card digitization

We gather the data, fill in the required card fields to the catalog’s requirements and prepare them for moderation so they don’t bounce back over incomplete data.

Bulk upload

An Excel template for large volumes and an API integration with 1C/ERP: we export the catalog, map the fields and upload cards in batches.

Moderation and NTIN

We take cards through moderation (usually up to 3 business days, up to 10 for public procurement) and bring them to permanent NTIN codes.

XTIN for the processing period

When you need to sell right now, we issue a temporary XTIN so you can trade while the card is in moderation, and bring it to a permanent NTIN.

Ongoing support

We help link NTIN to the ESF, SNT and cash register, revise rejected cards and maintain the catalog as you add new products.

NKT and NTIN are mandatory in Kazakhstan from 2026

On 1 January 2026 Kazakhstan’s National Catalog of Goods (NKT) went live: without an NTIN code you will gradually be unable to issue an electronic invoice, draw up a waybill (SNT) or ring up a receipt. Manufacturers and importers must digitize their goods; sellers and distributors work under an already-issued NTIN. WS Tech takes this route off your hands — from registration to ready codes.

1. Review the catalog and accounting system
2. Register in the NKT via EDS
3. Digitize cards (web/Excel/API)
4. Pass moderation and deliver NTIN

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is an NTIN and how is it different from XTIN and GTIN?

NTIN is the permanent national product code in the NKT, required for trade, the ESF, SNT and receipts. XTIN is a temporary code for the processing period that lets you sell while moderation is underway. GTIN is the international barcode used to find or pull a product into the catalog. For trade, NTIN is what matters.

Who must digitize their goods?

Whoever first puts a product into circulation — usually the manufacturer or importer. Sellers and distributors work under an already-issued NTIN, but if the product isn’t in the catalog, they have to submit the card themselves. We do that for you.

How long does getting an NTIN take?

After submission the card goes to moderation: usually up to 3 business days for goods on sale and up to 10 for public procurement. If needed, we issue an XTIN so sales don’t stop during the review.

We have thousands of items — what do we do?

For large catalogs we use bulk upload via an Excel template and an API integration with your 1C/ERP: we don’t fill in cards by hand, we export and upload them in batches.

How much does it cost?

The cost depends on the number of items, the state of your data and the integration required. Send a request and we’ll scope the work and price it for your catalog.
